The shopping area to the southeast of the community at the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway offers restaurants such as Chick-fil-a, Cristina’s Mexican Restaurant, Chili’s, and Scotty P’s. Other businesses include Best Buy, Super Target, and Costco.

Additionally, a wide variety of eating establishments and stores are located just a short drive into Frisco’s south side near Stonebriar Mall.

A Super Walmart is located just to the southwest at the intersection of Hwy 423 and Eldorado Parkway. Market Street, Super Target and Costco are located to the southeast at the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway.

The City of Frisco was named "The Best Place to Raise an Athlete" by Men's Journal.  This was in recognition of the city's commitment to Youth and Adult sports alike.  Additionally, city managers have aggressively pursued professional sports teams in an effort to encourage them to make Frisco their home.  As a result, more than 8,000 games are played on the city's first-class sports fields and venues.

Through a partnership between the City of Frisco, the Frisco Independent School District, Hunt Sports Group and Collin County, Pizza Hut Park, a $105 million public-private complex was built in 2005.  This 20,000-seat arena is a popular venue for soccer matches, high school football, concerts and much more.

Frisco Sports Council

The Frisco Sports Council is comprised of non-profit volunteer organizations that implement and manage several youth and adult athletic leagues, tournaments and programs for the community.   More than 15,000 Frisco residents align themselves with these nationally recognized youth and adult sports associations.

What is the traffic like when commuting from Christie Ranch?

The main entry point into Christie Ranch is from Teal Parkway. Eldorado Parkway provides entry to Teal Parkway from the south, and is a six-lane road that is fairly busy during commute times. Panther Creek Parkway provides entry to Teal Parkway from the north, and is a little less busy. However, in all cases the traffic patterns move along fairly well and provide easy access to and from the community.

How long does it take to commute to downtown Dallas?

Getting to downtown Dallas takes approximately 30 to 35 minutes depending on traffic.

How long does it take to drive to the airport?

Christie Ranch is approximately 35 miles from the DFW airport, and is about a 35-40 minute drive. Going to Dallas Love airport is about 32 miles, and is about a 30-35 minute drive.
