Even though Frisco continues to top the list of fastest growing cities in the country, there are still several small town treasures to be experienced in this thriving community.   Ask most of the locals and they will tell you all about "The Snow Cone Lady".  Founded in June 1983,  Mary Mathis and her red caboose has 15,147 Facebook fans at this time.  She doesn't have to advertise and relies on word of mouth. Fans brave the sometimes brutal summer temperatures for a taste of her heavenly ice.  Mary has been profiled by various magazines and has become a favorite of all. Recently, she has added an additional window in order to try serve her fans more quickly.   Whether you live here or are just in town visiting, be sure to check out the legendary Frisco Snow Cone Lady.

Recently, Mary was profiled in this video produced by the Best of the Road contest where Frisco has been nominated for America's friendliest town.  Check it out!
